We are EVANGELICAL. Our worship and teaching focus on the Good News (Evangel) of Jesus our Savior.
We are LUTHERAN. Like Martin Luther and all faithful biblical teachers throughout history, we are committed to proclaiming the principles of Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone.
We are a SYNOD. This word means "walking together." We work together with congregations in our fellowship of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) and of our sister synod, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). We also support a number of missions in foreign countries. The Evangelical Synod has Bethany Lutheran College and Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary in Mankato, Minnesota.
